The metal and polyester layers create a shield that helps stop static from getting through to the items inside.

Before this film was even made into a bag, the roll form already met this military standard—MIL-PRF-81705E Type III Class II. That means the material has been tested and approved to protect electronic parts from damage.

Moisture-Barrier Bags

Use moisture-barrier bags when electronics are up for storage or go through long shipping routes. They belong to the mil-spec ESD group and handle bumps, weather changes, and other stress during transport. These bags meet MIL-DTL-117H Type I Class F Style I standards.

They block out water, vapor, and grease. You can heat-seal them or use vacuum packing to hold the seal tight. Static and electromagnetic interference can damage small components, but these bags stop both from getting through.

Before the production of the bags, the film used to create them already met this military standard—MIL-PRF-81705E Type I Class I. That means the material has been tested and verified and is ready to protect electronics in tough conditions, even before it’s shaped into a bag.
